All admission applications must be submitted online.

ONLINE ADMISSION

The Admissions Process

Our admissions process consists of four steps. It allows us to better understand each student’s needs and determine whether Centennial Academy’s approach is a good fit for their profile and needs.

Step 1

Online Admission Application

For a new admission application, click on “ONLINE ADMISSION” and follow the steps on screen.

You will need to:

  • create a username and password to access the portal;
  • complete the online questionnaire. Your child’s permanent code will be required to complete it. You will find this code on their school report card;
  • upload the required documents in PDF format:
    • the most recent school report card;
    • the individualized education plan (IEP), if applicable;
    • the neuropsychological assessment report, if applicable;
  • pay the $50 admission fee.

The admission fee covers the review of your application. It is payable by credit card and is non-refundable.

Our team will review your application and let you know as soon as possible if your child is invited to continue the admissions process with a virtual meeting with one or both parents.

ONLINE ADMISSION

Step 2

Virtual Meeting with the Parent(s)

This virtual meeting takes place with the parent(s) only, without the student present. It allows our team to better understand your child’s profile and discuss, in particular:

  • their needs and learning profile;
  • their educational background and history;
  • your expectations and questions;
  • Centennial Academy’s educational approach and environment.

This discussion allows us to determine whether our school environment meets your child’s needs.

If your child is invited to continue the admissions process, we will provide you with the information you need for the next step: an in-person meeting with the student and their parents.

Step 3

In-Person Meeting with the Student and Parents

This meeting gives the student and their family an opportunity to discover Centennial Academy firsthand.

It is an opportunity to:

  • meet our team;
  • ask your questions;
  • discuss your child’s experience and needs;
  • tour the school;
  • gain a better understanding of our environment and approach.

Following this meeting, our team will conduct the final review of the application.

In some cases, additional consultation or information may be required before a decision is made. Our team will inform you if this is the case.

Step 4

Finalizing the Application

If your child is accepted, our team will guide you through the final steps to complete their admission file and prepare for their integration into Centennial Academy.

You will then need to upload the following documents to your online profile on Pluriportail:

  • the student’s birth certificate;
  • the student’s health insurance card;
  • proof of residence in Quebec: two pieces of identification for one of the parents (health insurance card and driver’s licence);
  • the most recent report card and final report cards from the previous two years;
  • a photo of the student;
  • the Certificate of Eligibility for Instruction in English (required only for applications to the English sector);
  • pay the $200 registration fee to reserve your child’s place. This fee is payable by credit card and is non-refundable.

Please note:

  • Documents must be submitted in PDF format.
  • Please ensure that all documents are clear and legible.
  • If a document is password-protected, please email the password to the Admissions team at admissions@centennial.qc.ca.
