Montreal, June 11, 2026 — The Board of Directors of Centennial Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Anika Maloni as Head of School of Centennial Academy. She will officially assume her duties on June 30, 2026.
An experienced leader deeply connected to Centennial
Ms. Maloni is well known to the Centennial community. She served as Director of the Success Team from 2009 to 2012, during which she contributed to the development and advancement of the school’s student support model. She subsequently served as Academic Dean and Commerce Program Professor until 2015, continuing to work closely with students, families, and colleagues.
Since then, she has held senior leadership roles at Sacred Heart School of Montreal, where she has served for over ten years as Assistant Head of School and Director of Academics.
A leadership focused on student success
With more than 15 years of leadership experience in independent private schools, Ms. Maloni holds a graduate degree in education (M.Ed., B.Ed.) as well as training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She also brings extensive expertise in supporting neurodivergent learners, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and guiding educational teams through periods of transformation.
Bilingual, committed, and recognized for her structured yet human-centered approach, she embodies leadership focused on student success, well-being, and organizational rigor—key pillars for the future of Centennial.
A transition grounded in continuity
Over the coming months, Ms. Maloni will take the time to become fully immersed in the community and meet with staff, families, and key stakeholders. Her collaborative approach places strong emphasis on human relationships and open, transparent communication.
