Message from the Head of School
Dear members of the Centennial community,
It is with the greatest regret that we recently announced to our CÉGEP students and their parents that we will be closing our CÉGEP at the end of the 2024 winter session, on June 30, 2024.
However, we want to reassure you that Centennial Academy (high school) remains open and committed to providing quality education for the next fifty years and beyond.
Since 1969, our goal has been to achieve academic excellence in teaching and learning through ongoing innovation and collaboration in a caring learning environment. We have transformed the lives of thousands of struggling students, often abandoned by a rigid, uncompromising education system.
Our Learning Development approach is effective in getting students to graduate from high school (MEQ) in 5 years with the independence and resilience needed to tackle post-secondary education. At Centennial, over 80% of our students graduate within five years, compared to 40% of students in similar programs at other schools.
Today, we are proud to say that Centennial Academy is the future of education. We remain committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment, where every student can reach their full academic and personal potential.
