Centennial was founded with the sole vision to become the preeminent school that empowers learners to conquer the challenges of learning.

More than ever, today’s students are feeling overwhelmed in the challenging and complex learning environment that exists in both the traditional public and private schools. At the same time it has become increasingly evident, with the progress in brain research and awareness of learning differences, a growing number of children are confronted with legitimate learning challenges. To help meet these challenges a new approach is required.

At Centennial, we believe it is fundamental to understand and apply evidence-based pedagogical practices for all learners. We use innovative approaches such as the IB Middle Years Program, systematic data collection, and routine and timely feedback, to address both the individual student needs as well as the collective needs of the class and family. Our experienced team is devoted to creative problem solving in response to each student, helping them to feel confident and capable.

Our students work in an environment that challenges them by developing their strengths and accommodating their weaknesses with access to the appropriate tools and systems to ensure progress. Parents are vital to our comprehensive and collaborative teams who are focused on supporting their child conquer the challenges of learning. It is about fostering resilience; learning on a personal, emotional and social level, allowing for the opportunity for a more balanced life.
